a little less sixteen candles...
Dec. 30th, 2006 12:48 amSo. Um. This is looooong overdue. By like a year and a half. I suck. X( But I finally have it written! Thanks to recent journal entries. Don't ask me why, but it just happened.
Anyway!
tahira_saki requested a drabble with Delia and Echo kissing. (Like I said, looong overdue, considering I don't play Echo anymore. But I did at the time.)
Here you go, hon. Sorry it took so long to get this to you!
[Rated PG/PG-13 for girls kissing and brief boob touching (but very brief)]
"I hate men."
Delia blinks as a blue haired nymph curls up on the bench next to her. Reaching down, she starts gently petting the head that is half in her lap. "Echo? What's the matter?"
"I hate men." Echo looks up at Delia, a pout on her lips. "They only seem to like themselves. Or other guys." Sitting up, she leans her head against the other girl's shoulder. "Is there something wrong with me, Delia?"
"Of course not." Delia places a kiss on the top of Echo's head. "There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. They just don't know what they're missing."
"Breasts?" Echo asks this completely innocent.
Delia laughs, then laughs some more when Echo lifts up her head and gives her a put out look. "I'm sorry, Echo. I'm not laughing at you. It's just... yes. Yes, they are missing breasts. They are very nice things." Without even really thinking about it, she brushes her hand across the thin material covering Echo's chest. "But it's more than that."
"Delia!" Echo's face becomes bright red and she crosses her arms over her chest.
"I'm sorry, Echo, dear." She passes another kiss on Echo's head, this time on the forehead. "But it really is more than that."
Still blushing, Echo looks at Delia. "What is it then?"
"The gentleness only a woman can give." With that, Delia leans in and kisses Echo gently on the lips.
Echo gasps against Delia's lips and attempts to pull away, but Delia's hand has cupped her cheek, holding her close. "Delia..." she breathes.
"Shhhh..." Delia continues to kiss Echo for a couple more seconds, then pulls away slightly, her face still close to Echo's. "That is what they are missing, Echo," she whispers.
Echo stares into Delia's eyes for a couple minutes, the silence surrounding them. Then, hesitantly, she leans her forehead against Delia's. "Maybe," she whispers, "maybe... that's what I'm missing too?"
Rather than seeing it, Echo feels Delia's smile as lips are once again pressed together. This time, however, the kiss was being returned.
Echo hated men. But she was beginning to love women.
