fandom is funny, y'all.
Jan. 31st, 2012 09:07 amThe fact that -of course- actors are going to be in more than one thing makes for fun realizations.
Example one: The Hallmark Channel was showing Hook this last weekend. I already knew that the same guy who did the voice of Zuko on A:tLA played Rufio, but this was the first time I had seen Hook since I'd learned of that fact. Hearing Zuko's voice coming from Rufio put a huuuge grin on my face.
Example two: This morning I was watching last night's 2 Broke Girls when a character who is hot and british and black and hot (oh wait, I said that already) comes on the screen and I pause it and say to my brother "She's Diana on White Collar." Then I explained that she (the actress) actually is british. I now want to watch the episode where Diana goes undercover as british and uses her real accent. Mmmm.
Finally, Azula and one of my RL friend's voices sound really similar. Not an example, but something I noticed last night. Only my friend isn't evil and trying to take over the world. At least I don't think...

Speaking of fic I want, a section of The Billionaire's Vinegar gave me a desire for White Collar fic where Peter and Neal working on a case regarding counterfeit wine.
Okay, back to steampunk reading. Fun times.
Caught last week's White Collar this morning since I missed it last week. And then, as I was deleting memos off my phone (I use memo pad on it to take notes during shows), I realized that I never posted about the first episode of the season. So here, have a post for season three episodes 1 and 3 (episode 2 can be found here.)
( 3x01 - On Guard )
( 3x03 - Deadline )
Three episodes down, five to go. Does it seem like half seasons go by quickly, or is it just me?

Three reasons why the midseason break of Doctor Who won't bother me that much:
One, Neal Caffrey from tonight thru July.
Two, Jack Carter from July thru September.
Three, the Doctor from September to ?.
See the overlaps there?
And to tie it back around, a rec: I Was Only Borrowing Time (I Was Going To Put It Back) by
