Caught last week's White Collar this morning since I missed it last week. And then, as I was deleting memos off my phone (I use memo pad on it to take notes during shows), I realized that I never posted about the first episode of the season. So here, have a post for season three episodes 1 and 3 (episode 2 can be found here.)
3x01 - On Guard
Favorite moments:
- Neal keeping extra ties in his desk drawer
- Neal going to Elle when he can't get through Peter
- Moz tailing Elle while Jones tails Neal
- Neal fencing
- Moz's aviator outfit
3x03 - Deadline
Diana's girlfriend, Christie! Whom she met at a pottery class! I'm hearting Diana/Christie so much right now. What else I love about them, other than they are a smoking hot couple? The fact that Christie is a doctor and Diana is an FBI agent. Both women in career fields dominated by men. How awesome is that?
I love that Diana went undercover as someone from England. That means she got to use her actual Manchester accent! Can I have more of Marsha Thomason speaking with her actual accent, please? I have such a thing for British accents. Thank you, show, for giving her that opportunity, and allowing us Americans to fall even more in love with her. Plus this line: "Damn right I'm over qualified." Oh, Diana. <3
During the opener, my mom asked why they didn't show a picture of Jones. I told her that he isn't a regular, he's recurring. My mom then asked why the insurance gal was a regular. Which is kind of a good point. I wish they would stop listing him as a guest star, considering he's been in almost every episode. As to Sarah, if she's going to be a regular, I hope they do more with her character than make her Neal's love interest.
Peter and his nerdy glasses! And then trying to split the paper! I love it when Peter does little things like that.
There's Elle! Hi, Elle! Cowboys is space is a great idea. Sadly, Elle's part wasn't very big, but as I said to my mom, "Fortunately Diana has the FBI. And Elle." Elle totally saved the day.
Peter is one step ahead of you, Neal. Which I'm glad of. I want Neal to realize what he's doing is wrong, especially when Peter calls him part of the family and Neal gets a funny face. Yes, Neal, you are part of them. Now stop trying to sneak behind your family's back! Although I'm also slightly amused the two of them having their own agendas. It makes it feel like when Peter was chasing after Neal.
Three episodes down, five to go. Does it seem like half seasons go by quickly, or is it just me?
