River Song is secretly a Cylon.

The last couple of weeks on game night we've been playing Battlestar Galactica - The Board Game. From the website: Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game provides a unique gaming experience. Unlike most games where players win individually, Battlestar Galactica is a cooperative game, with the added complication that one or more of the players is a secret Cylon traitor – your entire side will win or lose, and you might not even be certain who is on your side until the game ends!
Each player is secretly assigned his or her loyalty at the start of the game. Players will either be loyal to the humans, or to the Cylons. Humans and Cylons have specific and conflicting winning objectives. The human players win by reaching Kobol, but the Galactica will be be threatened by a host of challenges along the way. Only through the cooperation of the humans will the ship (and fleet) survive. The Cylon player(s) wins by either destroying the Galactica with attacks from the Cylon fleet, or, through sabotage, by reducing one of the necessary resources (Food, Fuel, Population, or Morale) to zero.
Either all of the humans win together, or all of the Cylons win together…but both sides must figure out who they can trust in order to achieve victory.
Players' identities are secret and no one will know for certain at the beginning of the game who they can trust. Keep your eyes open and watch how the other players play. Can you trust them to watch out for Humanity’s interests? Or are they Cylons bent on destroying Humanity?
It's fun to play, but kinda hard to win if you're Humanity. Both times we played the Cylons won. Which... was okay with me, since the first time I was a sympathizer and the second time I was a Cylon. :D The funny thing about the game was the characters and who were the Cylons. The first game, the Cylon was Chief and the sympathizer was Helo. In the second game, the two Cylons were Boomer (that was me, I was really amused when I got dealt the Cylon card) and Starbuck, who isn't a Cylon, but back when I originally watched the series, I had an idea for a Starbuck-as-a-Cylon fic which I'm now almost thinking of trying to write again. One of the best things about the game? You're encouraged to accuse people of being a Cylon. XD
Playing the game triggered my desire to watch some of the series, so first I watched "33" and then I watched the miniseries. It's interesting watching them after you've seen the entire series. Then your mind is going, "they're a Cylon!" The first set of reactions are out of order because I didn't start taking notes until halfway through, but I know these were my reactions before the major note taking started.
- Jamie Bamber! Chief/Sharon! Cally before I disliked her! Billy! Billy/Dee! There are 12 of them and she's Six! Helo! Baltar you hallicinating asshole! Callem Keith Rennie! Who's a Cylon! Adama's suddenly leader of the military while Roslin is suddenly president! First view of Ellen!
- Gaeta supporting Baltar! Like he will later on!
- There's another Cylon on board! I know who it is!
- Baltar implicating someone else as a Cylon agent! And he was actually right!
- The Cylons look like us!
- Adama hug!
- They said Leoben's name! Which is really Two, but they don't know that!
- Kara confessing about Zak!
- Doral is arrested! He says he's not a Cylon! But he's a liar!
- It appeared a week ago! Before Doral was aboard! So it must have been Sharon the sleeper agent!
- Basestars! They're fraked!
- We need to start having babies!
- Don't say you're sorry about the kiss, Dee! You and Billy should have babies!
- "Is that an order?"
- Elosha the priest lady!
- So say we all!
- You lie about knowing the location of Earth, Adama!
- If they weren't old, I'd say Adama and Roslin should have babies! He called her Madam President!
- "There are only 12 cylon models." note!
- Said Doral was a Cylon, look at him, he's sick!
- Twos and Sixes and Dorals (who number I couldn't remember at the time)! And Sharon! Sharon is a Cylon!
Yeah... I really want to rewatch the whole series now. I wonder if my library has seasons 2-4.0...
