Apr. 28th, 2011 10:28 pmRound one of the draft is over. Unsurprisingly, the number one pick was Cam Newton. Yay?
The stats that -I- care about:
Eight Big 12 picks, three of those in the top ten (2, 7, 10). Two Missouri, two Baylor, one Texas A&M, two Colorado, and one Nebraska.
The Chiefs took a player from Pittsburgh.
There was a moment near the end where they were confused on whose pick turn it was since the time had run out for one of the teams but there was no selection. They finally got it worked out.
Hopefully tomorrow (Rounds 2 & 3) will have more Big 12 players picked. *crosses fingers*
