januarYay he's not dead! Well, of course he's not dead. When they showed the robot early in the episode, I was wondering if that would be the case. Also, I totally knew that the question was, "Doctor who?"
Obviously my first reaction was what. the. heck. Followed by WHAT. THE. HECK. I can't help but love that they included Charles Dickens in the time mash, since 'The Unquiet Dead' was the first time they went to the past in the New Who era. Of course, I couldn't help being sad when he learned that the Brigadier had passed away. Perhaps envelope 4 for originally tended to go to him?
Poooonds. "My friends have always been the best of me." Oh, Doctor. And Amy remembers! Of course she remembers! But was it just me, or was the picture of "Rory" actually Jeff? Rory! Who withstood the pain to protect them! Rory, I love you so.
I'm glad they explained why River doesn't recognize Amy as her mother in the first season and why she didn't recognize the spacesuit at the beginning of this season. It was an act! The Doctor lies, and so does River.
I love Amy and River getting together with wine and bonding. And Amy's reaction when she said, "I'm his mother-in-law." Oh, poor Amy. It must be so strange for her.
And there we have it. At least it's just less than three months until the Christmas Special. If I could survive the break-up of this season, I'm sure I can survive the wait.
